Update Layout "Default"?

After setting up a template, is there a way to update it so that the reset includes all of the layouts and their current states?

Thanks.

The room is a snapshot of the template when the room is created. So the Reset Layouts option just puts them back to that snapshot. It does not re-reference the template room. If you want it to mirror the current version of the template, delete the room and re-create it.

What I'm curious about is the template itself. After setting it up for a course, can I save it so that "Reset" won't delete all the layouts? In other words, can I save it as a template that is not dependent on Connect's default templates?

Thx.

Remember you can make your own templates.  One way to do this is to create a room from a base template, with the purpose of it being a specialized template.  Set the room up, including content and break-outs and then move the room to either your template folder or the shared template folder.  once you make a room into a template, it should never be used as a room again and never delete the base templates.  Don't move a meeting room back out of templates if you have created other rooms from it. After it is in the template folder you can create rooms from the new template and then you can reset back to the snapshot whenever you need to.
