Uploading Courses that are in progress

Hi, I have several Captivate courses which are assigned to curriculum's on adobe connect.  I wish to update the content in theses courses but they are currently in progress by some users, what is the best way to handle a situation like this.  I do not want to cause any undue disruption, but it would be nice to be able to upload new content.

Update the course with the newer content. The individuals who are in progress, will continue using the version that they are partially through. Individuals who have not access the course or who have failed the course, but can retake it, will access the newest version of the course.

Updating the course content will not adversely affect the individuals actively taking the course.

No guide, but the process is:

  • Republish your content to the content library.
  • Go to the course and click on Select Content.
  • Verify the correct Content object is selected.
    • If an updated version of the same content object is being used, then it should be selected.
  • Scroll down and select save.
  • Accept the warning that you are updating the course.

That should do it. You can verify that a new version of the course has been updated by looking at the reports for the course. You should see a drop down menu for versions.
