Uploading Slides- formatting changes

When I upload slides (either through the share pod or the adobeconnect admin page) the formatting becomes corrupted.  For example, the text no longer remains within the confines of a text box or the font changes.  How do I avoid this?

Thank you.

Hi fairchilr,

This happens when you are using fonts which are not there on Adobe Connect server.

There are a few workarounds available:

1. Buy Adobe Presenter and publish your PPTX to Adobe Connect. This will preserve all your fonts.

2. Convert the PPTX into a PDF and upload a PDF in the share pod.

3. Use a font that is supported with Adobe Connect.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Sameer!  This may be a silly question, but where can I find a list of fonts supported by Adobe Connect?

Hi,

Our servers are hosted on Windows 2008 server machines. So the fonts that are there in Win2008 server will be supported on uploading a PPTX file in Connect. Typically, the following list (there may be additions/modifications in the list) has the name of the fonts that are there in Win2008 server machines: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/product.aspx?PID=160

Hope this helps!
