Will Adobe Connect work behind the great chinese firewall?

Can colleagues in China attend an Adobe Connect webinar?

      It can. There are a lot of vairables, but users in Connect are able to join Adobe Connect sessions. The bigger issue is usually latency. If you are running an account from a server in the US or Europe, there is a large physical dinstance between the end user and the server then you may see some latency. It is generally recommended to run sessions held in China from a server within the APAC region.

        Hello, my colleagues in China have had a hard time attending AC sessions as there are audio and connection issues throughout. They are often inexplicably dropped out of the session and when they connect, the audio (and video even more so) is of such a bad quality that they end up giving up on attending the meeting. Based on what you say, regarding the server being within the APAC region, is this also vendor specific? What I mean is, how do we ensure that the reseller has servers in the APAC region? Thanks in advance for your response!

        Talk to your reseller about having an account on the server cluster in APAC. 

        The alternative is private hosting in APAC, which is something that my company does, but it usually comes at a much higher cost. There are other benefits, but the juice has to be worth the sqeeze as the saying goes.
