Video in PowerPoint Issues

I installed a trial version of Adobe Presenter 11.1 as it seems that is the only way to have video clips embedded into PowerPoint play in Adobe Connect meeting rooms.

I was able to insert a video into the pptx file. It previewed fine. It published without any problems. But when I tried to share the zip file in a meeting room, I got the message "the selected document could not be retrieved, please try uploading the document again" I have tried several times, both uploading a zip file that was saved to my hard drive as well as saving directly to the Adobe Connect server and then sharing the file in the meeting room. No matter what I try, the outcome is the same

I have read through the documentation regarding how to import a video into PowerPoint using Presenter and I can't find any indication of what would be causing this problem. Anyone else with similar experiences that has figured out how to make this work? Your wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Steve

Did you use Presenter to insert the video into the PPT slide deck or just drag and drop it onto the slide?

You need to use the Insert Video option in Presenter to have the videos work in Connect. Can you confirm you are using this process: Learn how to import SWF and video files in Adobe Presenter.

Also, it can make your life much easier to import the videos as MP4's rather than the other file types.

Yes, I did use the insert video option in Presenter to import the videos and the file was MP$.
