Viewing a participant's screen

Can someone tell me if its possible to view a participant's screen?  We plan to use Adobe Connect for not only sharing our "presentation" screen, but also to have the ability to view a participants screen to assist with their "software" questions.  Thanks for the help!

If you only want a participant to share their screen, here's another way to go about it that only gives them access to share their screen, and does not give them any of the other Presenter rights (e.g., to view the Presenter Only area, etc.):

    1) Hover over the participant's name in the Attendee List. On the panel that pops up, click on the Request Screen Share button (the picture of the person in front of a computer screen).

    2) A box will pop up in the upper right of the participant's Connect Pro window that says, "Begin Sharing Desktop?" Have them click on the "Start" link.

    3) A “Start Screen Sharing” box will pop up in the middle of their screen. From here, they can choose to share their whole Desktop, particular Applications, or specific Windows.

If they do not have the Connect Pro add-in installed, they will be promoted to do so  somewhere in this process. Once the add-in is installed, they will need to intiate screen sharing again:

    4) Instruct the participant to look in the Share pod below where it says “What do you want to share?” and click on “My Computer Screen.”  The “Start Screen Sharing” box will pop up.

    5) After they have finished sharing their screen, hover over their name in the Attendee List again and click on the same button to Revoke Screen Share Rights. If you don’t revoke these rights, the participant will have complete control of all Share pods in your meeting and will be able to change PowerPoint slides, select or upload content, etc.

    I hope this helps!

Yes.  You will need to change the participant's role into a presenter.  Then have him/her share their desktop.  They may be prompted to install the Connect add-on if they haven't already done so.  ( usually a quick 15 sec install)
