Whenever I share my screen a little blue/purple box appears low down in the centre of the screen. I'm on a Mac. I can't get rid of it - it's been like this for years. You can see what it looks like in the attached screenshot. That's what it looks like to anyone watching the webinar. I can't find anything about it online.

That is an occlusion box that is obscuring something on your screen that you didn't opt to share. It could be a transparent box (I think Macs have the display for volume levels there) that is causing that. Try doing Desktop sharing instead of Window or Application sharing and that should disapper. Just remember that anything you are looking at on your screen is seen by everyone in the room.

Thank you for your clear-worded help! I used desktop mode and the occlusion box disappeared. I can't find out what is causing it in application sharing mode, bur this solves it for me 🙂

    Hi,

I'm getting this across my entire screen.

If I share desktop, it shows my wallpaper.

    Any ideas?
