Where is Mac version Acrobat 8 trial

Just a little more than one year later, I myself would need the trial version for Acrobat 9, version for Mac (French), but it is nowhere to be found.  Only Windows.  I can see myself the links for updates, but none for Acrobat 9 Pro itself.

I need this trial version as I bought the Master Collection, but the Master Setup won't work (some files are erroneous according to Toast 9 (while trying to make a safety copy) - couldn't agree more as I've tried the DVD on several machines and configurations, even in Safe Mode.  Nothing doing.  If I had the Trial version, I could at least install it and my serial number for the whole suite would take care of the rest.  I had to download all individual piece of software in the Suite and install them individually to get what I had paid for to function.  I never had such a crappy piece of installer (or was the DVD scratched along the process - not my fault though as I always handle them with great care.)  What a mess!  I asked to two (supposedly) techs for help over an hour and a half and I did not get any satisfactory answer nor any e-mail with a link that would have guided me to download what I need.  Very disappointing!
