Word 2003 crashes when converting to PDF

I have newly installed versions of Word 2003 and Acrobat Pro 8.0. When I use the PDF tool bar in Word to convert the Word doc to PDF, it crashes almost immediately, and closes Word.

What's wrong?

    I had exactly the same problem. The following "hotfix" sorted it quite well for me:

    The AdobePDF printer dialog is still showing errors with printing each document, but the PDFs are created and saved regardless.
