AMD not supported anymore

With the new 7.2 update AMD is no longer supported in Substance Painter.

An old bug came back that made the software useless.

Old fixes/solutions no longer works.

Whenever you try to paint or adjust anything in Painter it just instantly crashes.

Great work guys!

Correct answer Jeremie Noguer

We are working with AMD on a fix, in the meantime, renaming the exe file to "Substance Painter.exe" will solve your issues.

Hello,
Is there a timeframe for support for AMD GPUs in the 3D application from Adobe? We are still waiting a long time now. This long time frame does not give confidence in a solution. An update is appreciated. Thanks.

You could try Radeon™ Pro Software for Enterprise version, it's slower than latest drivers but it'll work, I've already switched to Nvidia, so I advice you to do so if you can.
