Hi Painters (a little tip for you)  🙂

When I bake Curvature UDIM in substance I turn off the "auto tonemapping (per UV tile)" and play with Min and Max (keep the same value) if Min is -4 Max is +4

For example If you have a body in real scale I use Min -12 and Max +12

Depend of the scale you can play with this values to get a good result.

I dont know if the correct way but works for me 🙂 I hope that help you.

Cheers.

Hi Guy
You are absolutely right, when you bake curvature you have to disable auto tonemapping because each UV will have his own range value and the map will be not seamless. The seams will stand out a lot.
Just a little tip to enhance what you said. Do a first bake on all UV with a average resolution (to make it faster) and auto tonemapping enable. Then export a log file text, you can found it into "help" in the top bar. Open the text and scroll down to the end. You will found a Metadata of the curvature baking and it will show you the max / min value calculated by the render. This value should be the perfect value 97% of the time.

Sorry my english is not perfect, hope you will understand all.
