Bevel edge that can be baked in replicating a high poly bake?

This is a simple question, not sure if its been implemented in this manner as its been a while since I have used painter. But, what i wanted to know was, similar to marmoset toolbag has a bevel shader, will or does painter have the ability to “bake” in a beveled edge as if replicating a high poly bake from a higher poly model along edges. thoughts? I understand it has a bevel filter, but I don’t recall it doing anything in that capacity.

Hello @sgtkoolaid and thank you for your suggestion.

This is a frequent suggestion we are receiving. We’re investigating, but I can’t share more. If you’re interested, we’ve made multiple new updates for the baking and more are to come.

thanks for the heads up. That is great news. I hope it will be included if you are indeed working on it. will save a ton of time, if we don’t want to have to spend the time doing a separate high poly version for baking. But it is also good to know if we can do it our self still as it will help maintain that understanding and knowledge base of supporting edgeloops of a high poly bake. :)
