Black masking issue

I've got substance painter in both Windows and mac but my Mac version when i try putting on a black mask but it shows up as a generator i think, it doesn't let me do painting, and I'm very confused >.< id appreciate any help in learning how to change it as I've tried right-clicking on the map to see other options but it doesn't change and stays like this  also i have these weird lines on my 2d side id love to know what they are to take off its like a boarder 0.0

Update: All issues have been resolved. Just needed to adjust UV Tile Settings.

In order to make sure we're not missing anything, here's our minimum requirement for running Substance 3D Painter on MAC.

 

Now that it has been said , can you detail how the mask is being added to the layer? Also, can you add Paint effect to the mask?

Hi Cyril,

I believe I meet the minimum requirement, I have a macbook pro from 2023 with M2 chip.

 

The method of adding the mask is right click add 'black mask' or from the drop down button, any mask option I select comes up like that instead of having the preview on it. I can paint but I can't see the preview from the layers panel.

 

I'm also confused how to remove those green/red guidelines on the UV map side of things.
