Help with SSS on a bat wing material

I'm trying to get my wings to mimic a bat wing, they have tons of SSS. I have SSS setup and it's working but it's very weak and need to be way stronger to be able to mimic the bat wing. How can I fix this?

SSS relies on multiple factors. Like the size of your object and the radius (defined in the shader). Make sure the size of your object fits the radius.

I tried changing the scale and thickness but nothing changed. I also tried adjusting the scale slider on the settings it didn't change it. SSS is working but no deeper than regular skin
