How do i instance and transform folder across uv tiles?

Hi,

I've got a folder with layers inside and i want to copy/instance it across a model consisting of multiple uv tiles. 

The main problem is when i attempt to do that using transform filter it gets cropped and i cant get to see it outside of the bounds of the first uv tile. with painting thou, i can do that across tiles no problem.

The second issue is that i dont understand how to instance layers. Instance option is always greyed out.

What is a general workflow of efficienty duplicating and moving multiple layers together aross uv tiles?

    after some figuring out it seems most ways of transforming things only work within an active uv tile (i.e. the tile where it was created - which is really odd and limiting). only transform that seems to work across tiles is inbuilt 3d transform in a fill layer. but that cannot be linked to other layers as far as i know. so if i have 10 different layers i need to have the same transform it's a bummer. i have to position each of them manually and then if i want to adjust the position i have to do it again for each node by hand. which i find bizzare as situation like this must be pretty common.

    pls let me know if i miss something. its hard to believe such a basic functionality is not there.
