As the title says, i'm trying to make a use of the latest cool feature of translucency channel to recreate glassy materials and whatsoever. After managing to make the channel work properly in substance painter, i couldn't figure out a way to have the translucency map appearing once exported into other softwares like Blender or Unreal Engine 5. I couldn't find any tutorial at all about this. Any good soul within the community found a way and could give me a help? It would be greatly appreaciated.

Hello @Mark - Da_Drood,

Thanks for your message.

The Transluency can be exported as any other channel.

That being said, you'll have to build your own Template and add Transluency, or use the Document Channel template.

Now, I'm not a Blender expert, but I guess you'll have to use the Translucent BSDF node.

Hey Cyril, i had already done all that you wrote before creating the post, but i still couldn't make it work. That's why i was hoping for some help, maybe a tutorial or whatsoever as there's lack of learning material for pipelines that integrate Substance with other softwares like Blender or Unreal Engine, concerning this topic.
