How to use new Shelf more efficiently?

Question

I've been working in with new Shelf introduced with 3d painter and I still can't get used to it.
I can't work efficiently anymore and I don't know what to do. Are there any tutorials or guides on how to make better use of it?

What problem is it causing for you?I tend to use two methods depending on what I'm looking for: 1. Set to "All libraries" and click the reset button at the bottom to remove any filters then use the search bar for a material by name. 2. When I brought in my old shelf, in which the material section is divided into folders by material type , I kept that structure and just added that to the library location in settings. That way I can still use those material folders to filter and search should I wish to do so. Dave
