Question

I have a license on Adobe but the Activation Wizard is still asking me for a substance3d license

Hi all. I have moved my account to the Adobe site and everything, so the licenses I am purchasing are registered on my Adobe account. I downloaded the new version of Substance Painter and it asks me for my substance3D credentials. When I insert them, the Activation Wizard tells me that there are no active licenses on the account - obviously, since they are on my Adobe account. Also, the latest license was purchased on the 3rd of December, so the license is still active.

How do I show the Activation Wizard my Substance Painter by Adobe licenses? I don't know where to download the .key file either and the evaluate product option never worked for me. Why can't I sign in through my Adobe account to confirm my licenses in the first place?

Thanks for the help, appreciate it 🙂

I started another thread and got an answer. It looks like you need to have the cc app installed first, or launch it from creative cloud.

I am having this issue as well. I uninstalled the program and re-installed (from a new download) it from scratch and it is still asking me to activate using my www.substance3d.com account, which while I can use, is not able to activate the new build.
