I MISS PDF MANUALS how do I bridge this ? How do I find text I am looking for in documentation ?

this page makes me feel encredibly stupid.

What will I type in to search only the online manual for the app ? not everything else ? I want to search the online manual just like I used to search a PDF book. is it possible ?

The link you refer to is about search terms within the Painter application rather than in the documentation.
I agree, the search facilities leave a lot to be desired. What is it you are looking for, we may be able to help?
