Import image textures from Photoshop - Blank texture

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me find an answer to my query!

I've photographed and edited a texture in Photoshop and saved out to Jpeg. I have then dragged this to the shelf and the thumbnail comes up, which is great so far )or at least normal!)...then I add the texture to the base color of a fill layer and it's just showing as blank white!

Then I copied all of the layers from the original document to a new file of the same size, in RGB etc, then exported to Jpeg and it imports perfectly...which is strange...but it works so far.

Then I made a change to some of the layers in the new document and again, I get a white blank import!

Has this happened to anyone else, and can anyone help at all please?
