Question

Is there a way I can move textures along a model that was re-imported in a different location?

After painting my model I realised I needed to move it in world space, but now after re-importing it all the textures are in the wrong place.

The model only moved along the Z access, so I just need to shift the textures back a bit, is there a way to do that without needing to repaint everything?

Hello @pogotc,

Thank you for the question.

Tweaking your UVs shouldn't be an issue, as long as you worked mainly with the 3D view.

For the the mesh itself turn off the "Preserve Strokes positions on mesh" option before importing and it should work properly. If you want to learn more on the topic, I had this great conversation with another user.

Best regards,

I can't see a way to edit my original message, but to add to this, I also had to tweak the UVs as I realised the pixel density on a key part of it was way too low.
