Paint brush is acting like an eraser...

How do I stop this? I have no idea why it's doing this. I had to wipe out the mask and recreate it to get the paint brush acting like one again, which resulted in an hour's work lost.

Painter v7.2.1

Windows 10

Thanks.

No worries actually ended up figuring it out not long after posting the question, tapping N with the paint brush selected fixes the issue. No idea why it happens every time after loading a project though.

Is there any chance you found a solution to this problem on your own? I have encountered the same issue while using the free trial of Substance Painter, and can't find any mention of it at all anywhere online.

Sorry for my negligence to this thread. I recall the post, but I do not recall how I solved the problem.

Hi,

Could you share a log (help>Export a log...)

Could you give more details? Are you using a tablet? Are your drivers up to date?

Thank you,

Kind Regards,
