Question

sale of 3D models with textures

I have a question regarding the sale of 3D models with textures created in Substance Painter 3D. Are there any restrictions or specific conditions that I need to comply with in order to legally sell 3D models textured using your software? Does the End User License Agreement (EULA) permit the commercial use of textures created in Substance Painter 3D?

Hi,

I do not work for Adobe but can point you to the terms of use which describe what is allowed, as well as restrictions, on using 3D assets supplied with Substance.

https://wwwimages2.adobe.com/content/dam/cc/en/legal/servicetou/Adobe-Substance-3D-Assets-Addl-Terms-en_US-20220322.pdf

Commercial use of Substance output is allowed but not in any way that allows users to directly extract Adobe 3D models or Adobe textures.

I created such a texture for my 3D model, is it ok if I share it with others/sell it in this form? I only used materials from Substance 3D Painter to create this texture.
