it keeps crashing its the steam version

    Without more details, it will be complicated to troubleshoot. That being said, considering you have the crash pop-up window appearing, I strongly advise you to fill it and leave us your e-mail address, so we can contact you back! Just so you know, filling the crash pop-up window also gives us multiple files defining the session that crashed.
