Substance License Failing

I have a subscription to substance painter that was migrated from Alleogorythmic (or however you spell it). When I launch Substance painter from my task bar it claims that my subscription has expired and requests that I activate using my old credentials for Alleogorythmic which of course doesn't work because my license is now a subscription with Adobe . I can successfully launch Substance from creative cloud, but that is ridiculous.

So it turns out the fix for this was to uninstall Substance, but not from creative cloud, because that didn't work.  No, uninstall from the system and then reinstall from creative cloud.  What a valuable use of my time Adobe!  Oh, no worries, I'm just a professional production artist, so I have a lot of time on my hands....

You should be praising Adobe for being allowed to use their divine software. Please make sure that each post ends with something like. "Oh, Adobe thanks for being with us, the worthless users"...and do never expect any sort of feedback.
