Use SUBSTANCE_PAINTER_PLUGINS_PATH not working

Hello, I am trying to use the SUBSTANCE_PAINTER_PLUGINS_PATH and it is not working. Here it is what I am doing:

) Go to Edit the system environment variables

) Add new called: SUBSTANCE_PAINTER_PLUGINS_PATH and its value G:\My Drive\001_PROFFESIONAL\000_resources\008_tech\TS_LIBRARY_2023\TS_softwares\TS_painter\plugins

) Open Substance Painter And it is not working.Am I missing something?

Thanks for the question.

 

What's in your plugins folder? In order for the environment variable to work properly, the plugins directory is expected to contain three subdirectories:

 

  • plugins : Modules that are loaded as optional components.

  • startup : Modules that are always loaded at application startup.

  • modules : Utility modules, shared across plugins.

 

Make sure these subdirectories are in your plugins directory folder. You'll find more info under

Help > Scripting documentation > Python API > substance_painter_plugins Module
