Wrong version on Steam?

I bought Substance Painter 2021 on Steam in a sale for 83€, which is clearly marked as version 2021 in the invoice as well as in the description. However, I only received the 2020 version of the Painter, this was loaded from Steam. However, why was this clearly marked as 2021? I can't open the files of my colleagues that were created on 2021 because I received the wrong version.

Is this normal or is there actually a fault? I will of course contact support...
