    it will make no difference at all because Dimension only uses the cpu to rendor... your gpu cards sit idle

    Sure, but it is expected to be able to render based on GPU, in the near future.

    that demo is showing "current industry standard" i.e, a few years old now and Windows only... yes Adobe does have a small ex-Mixamo team looking into all things 3d and sure anything is possible

    I don't believe that Dimension supports dual-gpu configuration, even if they're in sli mode. Even though, they have demoed at Adobe MAX that they could use Nvidia RTX in the future and this could lead to really fast renders.
