A problem caused the application to stop working correctly.

I was working on a big file (3.74 GB). I successfully saved and closed the file. Now when I try to open the file, I get the message, "A problem caused the application to stop working correctly." I already tried unistalling and reinstalling. I am able to create new document or open smaller past documents, but my large one gets this error. I even made a duplicate, which almost worked, I could see all the layers load, but then the message popped up again. This is quit disheartening to see after hours and hours of work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

 

My machine is a 2023 M2 MacBook Pro, 32gb memory.
