Adobe Dimension File Size

Hello,

I am trying to upload an adobe dimension 3d model to my Shopify website. The file size has to be 15MB or less, and my file is 35 MB. I can not seem to figure out how to reduce the size of the file. I have tried to scale the item, change the canvas size etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

if its a 35MB Png then wow

try remaking your Dn file from beginging... every time you edit it the file will grow and clearly having large models also adds to the overall size. add each part and save as you go to see where the big size is coming from

I have to reduce the.GLB file size to under 15 MB. I scaled the size of my model and scaled the size of my canvas with no luck!

Is it a .psd or a PNG?

If it's a PSD, you can still remove the additional layers (the depth, etc) as they serve no purpose as well as the non-denoised layer and also the background layer if you don't need it. . Then save the .PSD so you have a light back up to experiment with sizes)

When done, you'll have the option of saving as a JPEG (highly recommended for a website), and you'll see that that size is likely to be below 15 Mb

If you absolutely need a PNG, your only solution will be to reduce the size drastically. I means the physical dimensions. I suggest you do that in Photoshop (or another software) instead of reducing the the canvas size in Dimension (That saves you another run of rendering and doesn't mess with your original settings)
