Question

Adobe Dimensions not working on Windows

Dimension (3.4.3) opens up just fine, but if I click on "create new" or "take a tour" or anything, nothing happens. The cursor just spins. I have re-installed, I have signed out and back in, I have downgraded to a lower version, but same results.
I then have to open task manager in order to close dimension.

your harddrive doesn't matter but the image shows you have two Gpu and Adobe is well known for being crap at detecting the Gpu

try going to your Dimension.exe file, right click it and select the open with 'this' Gpu option to force the Nvidia card

p.s, if that works or you don't know how to find it then you can also set default Gpu from the Nvidia control panel for installed software on a case by case to make sure your best Gpu is used for any real rendor jobs

Thank you very much for the above - I have set the preferred graphics processor to the NVIDIA processor, but it still does the same thing.. The app opens quick and fine, but as soon as I click on "Take a tour / Start In-App Tour" or "Create New" the cursor just spins that blue circle. And I can't close the app. So strange..
I'm going to try the "Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool" tomorrow to see if that makes any difference.

well thats not the worlds best cpu but its only 3 years old and 16G Ram should be fine

you show the about page in your image so there should be a 'device' link there to check what Gpu is installed?

I have the GeForce GTX 1050 - I also have upgraded my hard drive to the WD Black SN750 500GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 Solid State Drive.

I run AfterEffects and all my editing programs without any issue.
