Question

After upgrade, some objects in scene render pitch black

After upgrading recently, some objects in the scene now render black, previous to upgrading, the objects rendered fine.

The objects were created in photoshop, UVs generated, and exported as OBJ files, then deleted.

Will I need to recreate these objects and place them back into the scene?
What a pain

    I am having the same issue. When I go to render it just replaces large sections with just black sections.

    yes rendor preview (above) is always different to actual rendor (below)

    my question is... how does your image rendor

    Like this.

    I think the UVs maps are on the inside or missing, the image has no texture generated on the black material

    I would work around this by doing the 3d rendor in Photoshop (legacy mode) to get the correct results... I would also send Adobe the Obj | Dn files for their bug testing but don't expect a quick fix

    so when you say rendor black are you;

    Taking about the rendor preview that shows you where things are in the layout or the actual rendor that Dimension exports as a Psd or Png?

    a scrrenshot would also help

    On the canvas the texture shows, however during preview render or final rendering, the object is pitch black. As if the UVs arent generated.
