Can't start Dimension on iMac

Can't start Dimension on my 27" iMac with OS Mojave, 3.6 GHz i9 processor, 96 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and 8 GB Radeon Pro Vega 48 graphics. I have tried with all available downloads. I double click on the icon and nothing happens. No error messages. Nothing.

have you perhaps got a secondary monitor docked?

No. Only connection is a Thunderbolt drive. Tried to disconnect that. No difference.
