Was hoping that this OOOOLD issue could be adressed in this release

But no :((((

Dimension is still not working on my Mac Pro 2010 Bi Xeon 3,46, Vega 56, High Sierra

Freeze on the home screen using 80% of CPU, have to force quit

I really want to use this wonderfull piece of software

Thanks for any updates on this issue as we are a lot of pro still using "old" mac pro

so now its a 2012 model not a 2010? well that would explain the bigger chipset and yes that makes it [more likely] a software issue... you can report a bug here if you like

you seem to know a lot so can you explain me the difference in chipset between a 5.1/2010 mac pro and a 5.1/2012 one ? very curious

this bug has been repported for ages (since Felix) by many... it's Xeon related... they just hop that user will change their computer and the more time pass the less they seem to care about it.

how is Adobe going to 'fix' your Mac?

in other news, you can no longer download old versons of Adobe software so people with systems needing software which Adobe considered obsolete should make backups before upgrading

Fix MY mac ??? are you kidding me ???

Felix wasn't working on MacPro 2012 since the begining and that 4-5 years ago while the macpro was still quite new.

"My Mac" is perfectly up to date in term of system, Apple consier them Catalina ready. And I am runnning under Mojave with all software smoothly and a GeekBench arround 20,000 that's far more than some 2019 computer out there

I have a recent GC , blutooth 4.0 update fast 2To Raid SSD and 12 core of XEON running 24 virtual Core.

I can do heavy 3D on any software outhere except Dimension.

This has nothing to do with MY MAC wich is perfectly fine, it's a problem from the begining of Felix that's been arround for years literally. And it's the same for ALL macpro outthere.

You havent even read the post, ther is tons of people posting that issue for years now and they just except that the time will solve the problem that is what have to be fixed...
