Dimension CC Freezes on Launch

Hi, have see various questions raised on this issue since Nov 2018, however there doesn't appear to be a resolution yet.

Have had two remote sessions with Adobe techs; and neither of them were able to resolve the issue or find the cause.  Dimension does not get past the intitial launch screen before freezing; and then you have to force quit to close it..

    Hi Robertg,

    As Dimension is freezing on launch, could you please look for your Dimension log files and share them here?

    Here are the names and locations for the files:

    DimensionGPUProfiler.log
    Dimension.log

    macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Adobe/
    Windows: ~\username\appdata\local\Adobe\Dimension

    If the files aren't there please check the permissions on the folder. There is an issue where some machines aren't getting write permissions for these folders which prevents the application from starting up.

    Those folders don't exist,   the previous Adobe tech looked at them and maybe deleted them

    Previous remote technician spent over 90 minutes on permissions etc
