Dimension Crashing to Completely Blank Screen (Mac)

Dimension CC regularly crashes when working with large files. It seems to handle fine without crashing when it's a smaller file and/or I save obnoxiously often—like every time I make the smallest of changes, even one as simple as renaming a group. See attached for computer specs and a screenshot of the type of gray screen I get upon crash (note: this is a different type of crash compared to the more common issue where just the viewport goes blank).
