Question

Dimension not casting shadow on top of other object

I created a taller object beside a shorter one and shine a light over them, the shadow should've cast on top of the shorter object but doesn't. Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong? because I've had a successful result before but cannot really tell if I did anything  different.

you are doing something wrong... the shadow is made by light and the angle needs to be lower if you want it on top of the smaller object

yes I know its made by light, and the shadow already casting under the right object (but not on top of).

already tried adjusting the lights and angle but doesn't get it to cast on top of the object.

Here is some idea for seperate shadow layers in Dimension uservoice forum. You can vote for it. Dn have some glitch for custing shadows.
