Dimension Shuts Computer Off After Splash Screen
I just bought a new laptop and after I install Dimension and try to run it, it literally powers the system off. I can't get past the "system resources check." I’m on my second laptop from a different manufacturer and I’m having exactly the same problem. I can't believe I'm the only person running into this issue.
I know I don't have the "minimum system resources" requested for Dimension - in particular, I only have 128 MB of VRAM. But, I have been running Dimension with no difficulty for a couple of years on an older laptop with that same amount of VRAM and a much less powerful CPU.
I already had an Adobe tech spend nearly 2 hours working on my first laptop with no success. I'm guessing I'll run into the same thing when I try them again. Can anyone tell me a specific current laptop or hardware/software configuration that they know to be compatible with Dimension? Or if anyone has a solution, I'm all ears. I've tried virtually everything that I've seen posted for solving issues similar to this.
Again, I'm running on a two day old laptop with the most current Windows and display drivers, etc. available. And, it's a Yoga 9i with a Core Ultra 7 155H Processor.
