Dimensions V4.0 froze my imac

Question

Fairly new to 3d but have been using it more lately so opened up Dimensions for the first time in a few months and it won't run anymore. Not sure what can be done but it was running smoothly before the latest version but now I can't even open a drop down menu to see how to downgrade the live preview or something. Everything grinds to a halt. I think we'll be getting new computers soon but current specs below. It's a shame, we were hoping to get more people to use this but seems like we won't be able to with this update. Seems like Adobe's strategy lately is to alienate people from their products more and more...

Hi, I have been experiencing also issues and crashing while using Dimensions. It all started with the Dimensions update, because about a year ago it worked fine. Somewhere in the middle of working, the app simply freezes. It happened recently while trying to just put a paper material into a simple box project (all the content came from adobe). It crashes, freezes the app and computer and I am forced to shutdown the computer and can't even quit the app. After this, the file is corrupted and can no longer be opened by the app. Please ADOBE TEAM fix this, because it gets frustrating trying to work and use the app. I also attached my computer specs.
