Export high resolution

Is there a way to export higher resolutions out of Dimension? When I export anything other than .DN for use in other applications such as obj, gltf, everything is compressed due to the nature of the file types. Decals are exporting no bigger than 500 x 500px 72dpi (in a 2048 canvas). Adjusting the canvas settings in AD doesn't make a difference.

Thanks for the note @olipowell - unfortunately we don't have a lossless export yet.  We are investigating a USD export for Stager right now which may allow us to keep non-destructive layered information like decals.  We are not yet sure if we will be doing features for Dimension as well.

Aero has some value for teaching kids the basics but its designed for small screens and not really a good fit for most work flows

have you tried rendoring these out with Blender?

Dimension is for running on a Mac so this limit is by design

a standard canvas is 1024 and many 3D artist {myself included} work with 2048 textures because that is twice the standard i.e, double the map size gives you a smooth surface but unless your art is going to be slaped on the wall of a shop and looked at from two inches away there is little point to higher resolutions

Yeah, I get that, but when your decal makes up only a 1/4 of said 2048 @ 72dpi, and slapped on an HDPI device in an AR experience (not Aero), it doesn't make for a very nice look. So I wholeheartedly disagree that there's little point in higher resolutions.
