File will not save if I apply a decal

I have a strange problem. If mI attach a decal to a object I have made and imoported, I cant save the file I get this error: Unable to save; if saving to a remotesynced folder, please try a different location. I have tried saving on my desktop and still the same problem

If I delet the decal I can then save no problem. It does not matter what file the decal is. I have tried exporting the object as .OBj and re-importing in to a new project but I run into the same problem if I try to attach a decal.
