Getting 2D files for package design from Dimension?

Looks like Dm is for visualization. Is it possible to get/ extract 2D illustrator files for actual printing and cutting boxes? (Illustrator has an Esko Studio plugin)

Something that would work same way in Dimension?

It is a little counter intuative (stupid) to just make a visualization if it does not help the actual production. There must be a workflow to construct and design packages with adobe software...
