Hello,

According to the Adobe web product site... they indicate that Dimension cc currently supports

importing the following formats shown below.  Is it possible that an update has occurred which

now allows it to import glTF/glb file formats?  i.e. and if not, can anyone share if they know it is

the works for a future release?

Dimension lets you import Autodesk FBX, STL, Sketchup SKP, and OBJ files.

Okay, sorry...  you were referring to the import and export of 2D imagery. Everything I need to do is in 3D.

Dimension is a rendor platfrom only (for now) it takes a 3d model + 2d images (backgrounds, textures or lighting) and blends them together

there are some extra 3d senarios in the prerelease builds you are welcome to try but we can't talk about them here

The best place to check what's under development is our Feedback site:  Adobe Dimension CC Feedback Portal

Here you can see the status of pretty much everything, whether it's under consideration or in development.  If you want something that you don't see you can make it a new suggestion and then others can vote/comment on it and we'll update the status.

Here's the idea for "Import GLTF/GLB" import glTF/glb files – Adobe Dimension CC Feedback Portal .  Please feel free to vote/comment and you can subscribe there to get status updates as we progress.  We're actually working on it now!

no Dimension can't see a giff or even a dds image

no we are not allowed to talk about what may or maynot be coming on this forum but you are welcome to vote for what you like on the feedback portal Adobe Dimension: Feature Requests: Top (337 ideas) – Adobe Dimension CC Feedback Portal

of course if you need it right now then Photoshop is able to open both giff & dds images which can then export them in a bmp, jpeg or png which Dimension can see

Ussnorway  thank you... however, I am not referring 2D imaginary... I am referring to the 3D format graphics language Transmission Format... i.e. created by the Khronos group [https://www.khronos.org/gltf/ ]... and now widely adopted by all major 3D platforms such as Solidworks, 2019, Microsoft Remix 3D, Sketchfab, etc. It is essentially a 3D JPEG and the quality/compression is great.

Re: can't talk about future release info... understand, but thought I would ask in case it was close, and there are press releases floating around.
