How do I 'cut' an object (ie. intersect) - I am totally new to Dim (and need to have this fast!).

I looked online, and wasnt able to find an answer (yet)

Specifically, it's a replaceable head razor model that I want to split into handle and blade (right now model is just ane piece)

the simple way is to use Blender to remake the model

Is it even possible to 'cut' things in Dimensions?!

Unfortunately no, not that I've seen. It's more of an assembly software than a design software. Substance might offer more advanced tools but I haven't tried it yet.

Check to see if it's grouped into a folder with separate pieces. If not, you'd need to create the OBJ pieces separately then import into Dimension.
