How to decrease .dn file size and disable huge SnapshotRepository creation in Dimension

Greetings, full CC subscriber here.

I use Illustrator, PS, XD and Dimension.

Starting on February 11th, 2022 Dimension started generating huge 2-3GB repositories EACH time I open a .dn file.

These unneeded repositories are stored in the following folder:

C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\FelixDCXAppID\com.adobe.dcx\SnapshotRepository

How do I disable this snapshot  "functionality" ?

My SSD almost filled up before I caught the culprit.

Upon reflection the problem must be related to a change in my workflow.

I used to work on smallish .dn files 30-50MB in size.

The current .dn files are actually around 2GB in size. (the big .dn link to other smaller .dn files)

The big .dn size is something I would also like to fix -

I have simple models  -> export UV to PS -> import back into Dimension.

Tips for lowering .dn file size?

so these new Dn files you are making use files [models, textures or materials] stored in your cc library?
