I cannot open documents after saving it

I create a new document and after I save it and close it I simply cannot a acces it anymore, everytime I try to open it a message pops up (image attached). Also some of my older work isn´t working either. I also cannot find the Dimension.log

it depends on why they don't open

if you saved models as Dn types or added fonts licenced into the scene then yes they are going to be corrupted, however if you just added too many models into a scene that your system doesn't have enough Ram to open it then share the Dn with a mate that has better Ram in her system and you can remove items to bring it down to size

given that your system clearly has issues in at least one location I would assume the old files are corrupted and a licence issue is the underlinning cause

hi Matt, what location did you save the file too because that error could mean your system isn't allowing access... what i would do is create a new folder on your desktop, send a test Dn there then see if Dimension can open that one

also any details on this computer like; is it Windows 11, a school system, external storage drives or 3rd party anitvirus?

Hello and thank you I tried saving it in a new folder on desktop and I can reopen new projects that I create, however I still cannot acces any of my old files even if I put them in the same folder, is there a way to ‚resave‘ the old projects or are they just gone/corrupted?

I run Windows 10 on a regular PC, no antiviruses or external drives
