Ciao, sapete se è possibile importare in Adobe Dimension modelli 3D creati con Illustrator filtro 3D con le funzioni estrusione e rotazione?

3D Object created in Adobe Illustrator can be exported only in bitmap and vector formats (jpg, png, svg, eps...etc). Ai files do not contain any meshes (3d polygons). It not possible for now.

If Dn features are not enough for you to create  3D object that you need you can use Ps, Blender or other 3D apps for creating the model that you need ,.. export as 3d file and import into Dn

  • you can build a model [parts] in Illustrator but then send it to Photoshop to convert it into Obj for Dimension to use... this is a common workflow that many Illustrator people use because they like building in that software more than Photoshop
  • warning, do NOT ever make 3D files with Bmp textures... Adobe Dimension will crash if you try to use these file types!
