Imported Objects show up disorganized

Whenever I export an object - saved as .dn - and import it into another project, it arrives all disorganized and I have to reassmble all the layers.

Settings are identical and I have tried centred and non-centered inports. I'm pretty new to Dimension.

Try to group your object and Generate UV from the Object menu before saving Dn file and importing in the other project.

.dn is a busted file type that the dev team never got around to fixing... yes I know it says they recommend using it for models but the people that put that note in know zero about using this product

for importing models after V 2 you want Obj files for best results
