Increased GPU Need For Increased Storage?

Hi everyone,I am kind of a noob to developing creative applications here. I was wondering, when you need to increase your GPU for 3D applications and other high-level apps, will you need to accommodate the increased GPU by having increased/faster storage capability?I was thinking with the increased GPU, you would need something like NVMe storage / NVMe RAID storage cards that have a high transfer rate and big bandwidth to accommodate these applications.I would appreciate any insight... thank you!

1st of all no, Gpu has little to do with storage its the Graphics card that does all the heavy lifting in Windows systems and is mostly there for show in a Mac... Dimension does not really use your Gpu yet so there isn't any point to grabbing a better Gpu to run Dimension at this stage

2nd Raid storage is for storage i.e, you put things in there after they have been worked on and they sit there (perhaps for years) until someone wants to use it again. the RAID part typically makes a backup of every single file in case of hardware fails which is far more common when using a RAID system instead of normal harddrive designed for personal computers

are you making a server to store files on which dozens or 20,000 computers will hook up to... if yes then a high transfer rate and big bandwidth is important but if you are building a system at home then its not

as a rule of thumb you run tasks from a local drive [C by default but the fastest drive is best] & never ask any software to read | wright to a RAID... thats just asking for trouble and if you have both Windows & Mac in the same network what a RAID is on you need expert back ups
