Is there a way to update multiple linked graphics using the same file at the same time?

Question

I have set up an illustrator file with all of the UV artwork I would like on my snowmbile model. I linked the graphic file to each panel (8 total) but seems like the only way I can edit is to select each attached graphic in dimesion, select edit so it opens again in illustator and resave. This updates the panel I selected but not the rest of them. Hoping there is a way I can update all the panels at once to save time. Thanks

There is some workaround if your Ai or Ps files have artboards and each object with his artboard has been placed on seperate objects. Editing Ai file opens file and you can edit all free objects and seperate artboards at same time. But (as I found) after that you need to update each artboard seperately in decal panel.
